I read several of these reviews prior to purchasing. One review said to order 1/2" longer than needed. I would say to order 1" longer than needed. Other than that, I will definitely order from here again.

These were bought for our north facing basement bedrooms. We needed insulation and privacy. These shades filled both. I gave them 4 stars because they do not offer textured fabric like the more expensive shades, so they look a little plain. As far as insulating, they work almost too well. We had a lot of moisture and ice (installed in Dec.) built up on the windows behind the shades, but the rooms were a lot warmer.
