We bought these blinds based on the cordless lift option and our past, generally good experience with Levelor blinds. The lack of the lift cord is a definite plus for looks and safety if you have pets. The blinds and built in valence have a nice clean look. Raising and lowering the blinds, however, is not quite as convenient as the traditional cord. It's hard to lower the blind all the way to the sill because you must grasp it from underneath and your hands get in the way. Also the wider the blind, the easier it is to inadvertently raise it crookedly. One note on installation. Levelor is using a bracket design that requires quite a bit of clearance between the back of the header and the window frame. You will have a hard time getting the header to lock in place and an even harder time removing it if you don't allow enough spacing.

With no questions the phone attendant had a new custom blind to us in just a few days. I was quite impressed at the speed of rectifying the situation.
