Great shade - good quality for the money. This shade does a great job from blocking the hot sun in the morning in the kitchen. I am guessing it keeps the room 3-4 degrees cooler.

I love these because they are completely hidden when not in use, but when the sun is at it's peak the shades shield the sun but still permit the view...the best of both! [...] the shades are perfect. They were very easy to install, as well. I will likely buy additional solar shades for the porch.

The one we purchased does NOT block enough of the setting sunlight (the reason we bought it to cover our sliders in the TV room). Therefore, we're slightly disappointed. I lower it to maxium and then double it on itself and clip in place with clothes pins. Not the perfert solution.

Cord almost too short to use

The blind is of good quality but the cord should be left long enough for the pull tensioner to reach the bottom of the window for which it was sized!!! Not Happy.

I would recommend these blinds for good light control on a budget. They are very basic but do the job. We had a little trouble installing them as they were a tight fit, probably my measurements weren't perfect. It worked well for us to drill the bracket holes, then put the brackets on the shades before sliding into place and screwing the brackets to the wall.
