Helps to keep heat in and block drafts. Happy with overall quality, but outside mount units had to be trimmed at valence board.
I would definitely buy other products from blindsaver.

We had looked at these blinds @ a big box store so we knew wanted. The price was less than half of the box store quote. Installation was not difficult and the blinds look great!

This is a very attractive product and gives my den a completely different look. I was getting tired of the white blind look and am very happy with this product. I ordered my blinds with the privacy backing and this is great. No more glare on my 50 inch plasma. Installation was a bit difficult since you need two people. I attempted doing it by myself, but was quite difficult. Overall, I would highly recommend this product and blindsaver had the best prices on the internet. [...]
